Jeff and Kaylene Wilson’s North East Run
|
A great weekend at Benalla. Heather had the best dance moves on the floor. Steve missed the bus. Kayleen is the best cook and we surely will be back next year for her delights. The wineries where popular with many supplies being bought. We all enjoyed ourselves once again. From August North East Run, 2008/08/31 at 12:03 PM |

After a wet start saturday morning the Mornington Melbourne and Broadford members arrive at Jeff and Kaylene Wilson’s for homemade sausage rolls, quiche, tea coffee and toilet stop . Meeting other members in Benalla at 12.30 we went on the observation run to Fibre Chev Wangaratta, cheese factory ,mustard factory and finally Brown Brothers Winery.Filling out our run sheets on the way there and back to Benalla.Time to get ready for the bus to pick us up for the nights entertainment at the golf club.Plenty of food booze and music for everyone, only lost Steve Peterson at the end of the night .The run had been so good that most people were up at 7.30 for breakfast, ready to get going again.Sunday morning a traction engine restorer showed us his collection before having lunch at the Wilsons.
